Thanks in large part to their willingness to give, the Y is able to ensure camping is accessible and affordable for families across the state. According to the ACA, the average cost of a summer or sleep-away camp in the United States was approximately $448.53, with projections indicating a potential 35% increase this year.
Recognizing the vital role of summer camps in a child's personal growth and development, our volunteers have dedicated themselves to making these experiences available to as many children as possible. Their unwavering commitment to ensuring campers' safety, happiness, and growth is seen in the smiles of joy beaming from our campers. Our volunteers lead fun-filled activities, provide emotional support, and mentor our campers to model the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
